New flats and additional storey on mixd use building in Dalston
Make an enquiryFollowing two previous refused planning applications, we were approached to advise on a strategy to secure permission for two new penthouse apartments on an existing mixed use building. The site was challenging from a planning point of view on account of being within a conservation area and having nine adjoining residential neighbours in close proximity. We worked with Douglas and King Architects to develop a scheme which addressed the reasons for refusal from the previous applications. Despite a campaign of neighbour opposition, the application was approved on first submission at planning committee.
